FLAGSTAFF EVENT CELEBRATES ALL ANIMALS

Local organizations collaborate on festivities

August 15 , 2004
Please join us for a community celebration of all the animals that share the planet with us, from cats and dogs to wolves and prairie dogs.

The celebration is scheduled for Saturday, September 18, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Heritage Square in downtown Flagstaff. Activities include live music, local artisans, informational booths, food, games and activities for kids. An important focus of the event is to inform the community about the challenges facing Arizona's companion animals and wildlife.

The event is cosponsored by the Animal Defense League of Arizona, Sierra Club's Plateau Group, and the Flagstaff Activist Network.

For more information or to volunteer, contact Lara at (928) 779-3186.
